Small Packet (Registered Airmail) service will be abolished!

Japan Post announced that the economical delivery method “Small Packet (Registered Airmail)” service will be abolished.

Effective: 31 December, 2025

EMS (Express Mail Service) and International ePacket Light service will still be available.

- EMS (Express Mail Service):

The fastest courier service. Available up to 30 kg (Minimum: 500g). Track service available. Covers up to 20,000 JPY in loss or damage. If you need more coverage, you can purchase up to 2,000,000 JPY in insurance (an extra 50 JPY would have increased the level of compensation to 40,000 JPY).

- International ePacket Light:

Track service available. No covarage in loss or damage.
